Cornerstone Academy is the Offical School of Central Illinois Ballet
At Cornerstone Academy our mission is to offer the highest quality of instruction while adhering to a curriculum that teaches formation of character, and stresses standards of excellence applicable to all areas of life. Known for encouraging quality academic standards, as well as for nurturing artistic expression, Cornerstone Academy instills a quality of thought and action that enhances the lives of all the students regardless of their ultimate careers.
Cornerstone students travel from all areas of Central Illinois to train in the pre-professional program. The Academy encompasses a large geographical area including: the Quad Cities, Bloomington/Normal, Chillicothe, Dunlap, East Peoria, Eureka, Galesburg, Germantown Hills, Metamora, Monmouth, Morton, Peoria, and Washington.
Former students and alumni currently dance with top ballet companies, Universities, and Broadway shows throughout the United States and Europe.

The Academy provides the highest level of classical ballet and dance training, adhering to a curriculum that teaches formation of character, and stresses standards of excellence applicable to all areas of life. Known for encouraging quality academic standards, as well as for nurturing artistic expression, Cornerstone Academy instills a quality of thought and action that enhances the lives of all the students regardless of their ultimate careers. We are committed to enriching the quality of life in the Central Illinois areaby providing opportunities for community outreach, scholarship programs, and artistic collaborations and providing dance education access to children from all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds living within Central Illinois.
